Why this initiative? As at the time of writing this post, there are 254 cases of #Covid19 in Nigeria and globally, over 1,431,973 cases with over 82,085 deaths!
The spread is so alarming that many nations' health systems are under much pressure with resources running out. In addition, to curtail the spread, many cities are under lockdown. The lockdown alone has made survival difficult for many - especially those with little means of survival. This initiative will contribute it's part as we shall see.
The #BNCovid19 Initiative is a two-in-one project that comprises:
1. The #BNCovid19 hashtag to be used on all our social media and on Bestnaija to raise more awareness and educate the people on Covid-19 pandemic and ways to help curtail the spread. Feel free to use the hashtag #BNCovid19 anywhere to resound the message!
2. A voluntary platform on Bestnaija.ng for all besties and any interested ones to contribute their widow's might in support of the global fight against the Covid-19 pandemic which is affecting everyone.
Contributions (fund raising) shall be in Bestnaija currency ßcoins which are normally earned as you participate on Bestnaija.ng. The ßcoins can also be purchased with ATM card, USSD, transfers etc via this your dashboard so you can donate.
A brand account has been created in the name BNCovid19 to which we can contribute our ßcoins meant for this initiative.
