There is a major change in our policy on Bestnaija that will affect every new member registering and some few existing members. There is a change we must effect for the sake of database sanity and continued compatibility with some new programs we're writing. Guess what it is?
Before now, your nickname may be alphanumeric with space. So you could have names like MR BEAN1234.
Here's change: We are removing the space. So we go for pure alphanumeric nicknames.
NEW MEMBERS
For new members trying to register, if you add space, your nickname will be rejected as invalid and reason stated. We go for only alphanumerc now without special symbols. Simple.
EXISTING MEMBERS
We will either run a script that'll automatically remove all spaces or we will manually modify all existing nicknames on the go to remove the spaces. So members like HORSFALL GEORGE must take note. Your nickname will become HORSEFALLGEORGE.
In case your nickname change prevents you from logging in, remember you can login with your email address plus password.
