Bad News For Chelsea As Star Rule Out After He Is Tested Positive TO Covid-19

Kai Havertz has been confirmed to be tested positive for Corona Virus (Covid19). The news broke out at Chelsea website on Wednesday, in preparations for the Blues' UCL clash against Rennes at Stamford Bridge.


Kai Havertz, Chelsea record signing signed for the London Giants in the just passed summer transfer window. Kai Havertz netted his first goal for Chelsea and his first career hat trick against Barnsley in the league cup last month. The German appeared to be in the squad ready to face Rennes before the news broke out that he's tested positive to covid19.


Chelsea are already without the services of Billy Gilmourr, Christian Pulisic, Kepa Arizabalaga and now Kai Havertz has appeared to be out of the Blues' squad. Kai Havertz has not lived up to expectations yet but his teammates and coach Frank Lampard, appreciate his progress to adopting to one of the exhilarating and toughest league in the world, the EPL.


Chelsea will have to play Rennes without the German, before heading to Saturday against Sheffield United in the league, as he'll be forced out of the squad in a bid to abide by the covid19 guidelines of self isolation.
