As can be seen from the front page lower section, the Bestnaija's Referral Contest --> has been unveiled and will run periodically.

ABOUT
The --> will reward bountifully members who can refer new members to the community over the period.

HOW-TO
Every bestie/Bestnaija member has a unique referral code or link available on the dashboard. See your dashboard here. Mine looks like this:

There are ready-made share-on buttons for the major channels. You can share and also copy. Once anyone joins via the link or visits via your link, it is logged until registration confirmation.

Each activated account counts.

WINNING
Reaching the threshold makes you a winner. And winning can be in multiples.

You qualify for 1k already! You can get the 1k now or after the whole period. You can get another 1k at point 20! Multiples.

The contest started April 29.

You will be rewarded for refs before that date.

Henceforth, the contest is the only way to reward normal referrals. When no contest is running, no rewards will be given for referrals.

However, 50% VIP Referral Bonus is permanent and non-ending.

Lest we forget to mention, when new members are filling the registration form, there is space for referrer name. A new member can mannually nominated s referrer too.

I think monthly is good. But what happens if someone reach 7 members or almost 10 before cut off? Lost effort abi?

Good question. Sorry I should have clarified this before now.
With the way it's programmed, winners will bring multiples of 10 referrals. So, 9 referrals cannot win. And there's no ROLLOVER! So you start afresh next season.

If someone brings 19 refs, you win only 10.

Tough, right?
