Water Melon (Citrulluslanatus var lanatus) is a scrambling and trailing vine in the flowering plant from the family of CuCurbitaceae Originating from Southern Africa.

The five types of water Melon are Seeded, seedless, yellow and orange varieties with the seeded being the most common amongst all.

All the parts of the Water Melon are loaded with health benefits. It contains Vitamin. A, B6, Niacin, thiamin, Vitamin C and a wide variety of carotenoid and phytonutrients including lycopene.

Water Melon contains more of the anti-oxidants Lycopene than fresh tomatoes.

I'm pretty sure a larger percentage of us are guilty when it comes to discarding watermelon seeds. I am also guilty. I accept.
There is this friend of mine... when he buys a watermelon, he divides the whole of it into two parts, sits down and eats it to the rind. Oh, yes, he does chew the seeds. And I'll be like WTH are you doing??? With displeasure written all over my face.
I never knew how essential watermelon seeds are. I was oblivious of the health benefits he was gaining and gains whenever he chews the seeds.
I'm a repented soul though... :t'g: :w':
