Rules:
You tell us the following about the interview experience you are going to share with us:
1. How were you invited/notified for the interview? (Mail, text or call, or maybe you gatecrashed :-o )

2. How long were you left to prepare? (Thats the length of time between when you received the i.v and the interview date.)

3. How did you prepare (If at all you prepared)?

4. How far and convenient was the interview venue, and how did you overcome the obstacles?

5. Most importantly, what questions were you asked, and how did you respond? (Lets learn from your experience; you too will learn from your mistakes!)

6. What was the outcome of the interview (If any)? Another interview? The Job? Still No Job? or Nothing! Till further notice?

7. How did the whole outcome make you feel? Discouraged? Strengthened?

8. Finally: Whats your advice for people like you, or people you have left behind in the job market?

Thank you! :good: and I will go first.

Please share...

Well, thanks for reading:
For your information, i did not gatecrash dis interview, i was invited with a text message, sequel to an online test i did:
''abd plc invites you for a chat blah blah blah!''
i was so excited untill i read further: in 2 freaking days time? :-o in Lagos, v.i while i was flexing in minna! how do i do it? i was broke, just finished service, and d distance? omg! but because d company was worthwhile, i had to run around, borrowed money that evening, borrowed a suit too, and i made it to lagos.
getting to the venue? no much crowd, and the next thing i knew was a scarily consuming heavy voice coming from either of two well-dressed gentlemen sitting infront of me:
''Tell us about yourself!''
I bet you, my heart almost forced itself out of my chest, but i contained it. but till today, i cant really know which of them was talking or both at a time- it was my first interview.
I cannot remember the rest of the story, but i think i messed up badly, i wasnt so experienced, and not prepared too. But it was never a loss!
I held on to the experienced, and i kept applying for jobs, and i bet u, i made it at my following interview with another bigger company.
So my brothers and sisters, if you fall once, it aint the end of it all. Keep the fire burning, and always remember that God blesses only one type of efforts: SINCERE EFFORTS!
(And a sincere efforts is not when u spend too much time on facebuk, but abandoning job search and discussion forums like this!)

There aint no such thingy as luck: Luck is simply defined as opportunity meeting with preparedness!

I used to be the shy type. But surprisingly, did not know how my shyness disappeared on my first interview. I know it was God's help. I could not have sonera it on my own. :w':
