The 2019 opener match between Manchester United and Chelsea was an interesting one. The Red Devils thrashed rival Blues 4 goals to nil. That's very rare!
While that's really plausible and great start, the concern of many is that with that squad, for how long can Manchester United Keep up such great performance?
Chelsea are Shallow
Lest we forget, the current Chelsea squad that faced United is not the Chelsea we used to know. I mean look at the lineup. Everyone is gone: Hazard, Luis, etc. No strong player faced United. So we at Bestnaija.ng believe we still cannot measure United's real strength with this shallow Blues team.
Pogba the game master
My problem with Paul Pogba is the fact that he's inconsistent. He shines in one match and in the next he's a shadow. If only he can be very consistent.
It's just the beginning
The 2019/2020 just got started. While it's good to have a great start, the resilience matters in the long term.
Let's sit back and enjoy the season. Oh, I have waited for so long. And now it's here.
Who do you see finally at top 4?
I don't see Chelsea with this current squad. Sorry. I meant no harm.
I see Manchester City, I see Liverpool, I see United and then maybe Arsenal.
