What just happened, sports lovers? Juventus have had unbeaten run since this Seriea A season but that got terminated by mere Genoa yesterday following a 2-0 defeat. And Cristiano Ronaldo was absent.

Was that why? If so, then the squad has great work to do because over-reliance on Ronaldo may not help the team in case of critical matches where the record signing is absent.

Meanwhile, the Italian club still top the table well enough to be guaranteed the title.

I actually wished they set the record by winning the title with zero loss. That's not meant to be anymore.
