Liverpool 0-0 Man City

A Fantasy Football disaster from Sergio Aguero,
booked and hooked. He's still never scored at Anfield,

just like Sean Dundee.

On comes Gabriel Jesus.
Record is a very important thing in football, Aguero's case is just like a curse

by psymorn90 » October 7th, 2018, 6:22 pm

No No No No
Mahrez is a goat.

by eMade » October 7th, 2018, 6:16 pm

And.... Mahrez missed it.

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!
A SHOT ON TARGET.

Riyad Mahrez tests Alisson from inside the area and then for good measure Mo Salah curls a 20-yarder effort into the hands of Ederson.

Two shots in a minute. This game is set to get going...

PENALTY APPEAL

Liverpool 0-0 Man City

Penalty?! Surely?!

A corner comes in and Virgil van Dijk beats it away with his arm - ah but he was fouled by Fernandinho in the process.

Pep Guardiola isn't happy though.

by Key7 » October 7th, 2018, 5:51 pm

Manchester City losing a lot of chances here

Seems this match will be goalless.

Liverpool 0-0 Man City

Noise on the Kop as Liverpool at least fashion a half chance - they get the ball into the area down the left and cut it back but Naby Keita rather gets in the way of a team-mate and between them they fail to get a shot off.

Better though!

First time I've seen that'

That's the first time in 32 years of playing and
broadcasting I've seen a goalkeeper pass it
backwards in his own six yard box

A little bit of pushing and shoving but that's the edge to the game we haven't seen yet.

It's been a bit 'you have it, we have it' - this game needs an edge to it.

TEAM NEWS

Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita could be fit to play despite spending Wednesday night in hospital after suffering a back spasm against Napoli.

Adam Lallana is nearing a return to action but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains a long-term absentee.

Manchester City pair Kevin De Bruyne and Benjamin Mendy both returned to training this week and could feature.

Ilkay Gundogan faces a fitness test on an injured hamstring, while Fabian Delph is still absent.

Predict the first goal scorer correctly and β500 from me.
