Emeka Ibeh has emerged chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria Lagos Chapter.
Ibeh defeated the incumbent Moji Oyetayo with 95 to 31 votes in the election conducted recently in Surulere, Lagos.
The electoral body AGNEC chairman, Seyi Copperfield, stated the election was the most transparent, open and fair election in the history of the Lagos Guild.
Local and international observers also certified the election as very peaceful and innovative as it was devoid of rancour and contention by both contestants and their support.
The newly elected Lagos executives were sworn-in on Wednesday June 9, 2021 in Lagos.
This is Ibeh’s second term as Lagos chapter of the guild.
