I hate being messed with mentally. We all know how much influence and impact religion has in our lives. Religion has so great influence that it can bring people together, and it can divide a people. Religion can kill and it can heal. It can make or mar. It's powerful in our lives as it wields so much power and influence on people's lives. Religion has fostered peace, and has also started wars. Religion is powerful.

Something that has so much influence should ordinarily be true. If something has so great a power on the direction of your life, you owe it to your creator and maker to make sure it's not propaganda of some sort by some intelligent powerful people to control your life. Think about it.

We are humans and not sheep. Homo sapiens can think for themselves and possess the power to chose between right and wrong, unlike other members of the Kingdom Animalia. As humans, we must use the power the Creator has bestowed upon us: free will. But this free will is threatened. Your free will is one major power that's at risk each day.

Let's put this 'free will' to work now.

Question of the day:
Why so much similarities in the historical narratives of Islam and Christianity as contained in the Holy Quran and the Holy Bible respectively?

Yet, do not forget, both religious are strange to our land. They are strange to our culture. They are strange to our nature. They were brought by 'foreigners' whom we are certain 'do not completely love us.' Someone who loves you will not enslave you for decades. Someone who loves you will not take away your only power: free will, and then tell you that you cannot question religion fundamentals.

Do you understand?

Back to the question of today:

Why so much similarities in the narratives of the two major non-traditional religions of today?

Remember: there are always 3 sides to any opinion-based narrative:
1. Your side,
2. Their side, and
3. The truth

Dare to know the truth!

I'm interested in your side to that question of today. And talking of similarities, you should know what I mean.

And wait! If you are not aware of such similarities, and yet you follow either of these 2 major doctrines, I guess you need something vital for you to make sure your side is truly your side of the story: INFORMATION.

You need to find out what I allege as similarities first. Then your opinion can hold water.

Let's go.
