The world is filled with all kinds of emotions and feelings, the strongest being love and hate. Most humans go for love as it is a peaceful feeling which breeds positivity. However, when most people lose the source of their love, they are left only with an even greater feeling of hatred.

The love they once new is no more and the only friend they have is solitude built from hatred. It can cause destructive consequences for those who are in its path, as everything and everybody the person knows or knew become vessels for their hatred.

Footballers are not exempt from this feeling, even if they make tonnes of money. Some of them have an even greater heated for their family members than you may fathom.

We will look at only 5 of such players, whose hated for their family runs deep.

1. DELE ALLI

Tottenham Hotspur hotshot Bamidele Jermaine Alli, is widely known for his hatred towards his parents. His father, a Nigerian man, stayed with him in Nigeria, then America, before moving to Milton Keynes, England.

He lived with an adoptive family in Milton Keynes while he worked on his football career. He cut off ties to his biological parents soon after, with the last time he spoke to his mother being in 2015.

His parents have made numerous attempts to try and reconnect with him, all to no avail. They say they don't know what they did to him, but he seems to hate them so much that he doesn't care to know how his mom's been doing since 2015.

2. EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR

Emmanuel Adebayor was one of the best strikers to grace the Premier league. His physicality, aggression and clinical power were no match during his time as a player. He played for big teams like Arsenal, Manchester City, Tottenham Real Madrid etc.

He has made it very public that he hates not only his parents, but his entire family. He said that his family never cared about him, that they were only after his money. He said his mother was the worst of them all, as he could not explain her own greed for his money.

He gave an instance where he was at Tottenham and suffered an injury. He was called by his family members in order to help pay the school fees of a child. He said he was very disgusted as they couldn't ask how he was and how bad the injury was.

He claimed that they have tried to use 'juju men' who would talk to him, trying to turn him to do their will and hand over his entire properties and money.

He said that his family's constant nagging and greed for his money almost led him to suicide multiple times. He said he had to change phone numbers alot just to get away from them.

3. MARIO BALOTELLI

He was born in Palermo, Sicily as the son of Ghanaian immigrants. In 1993, when he was three, Balotelli was placed in foster care to the Balotelli family. Ideally, they were the force behind Balotelli's fame.

In June 2012, he dedicated his goals that put Italy in the final of the Euro 2012 football championships to his foster mother Silvia. He clearly has no room for his biological parents.

He never mentions his real parents, even though he doesn't know them, because he can't find a reason in his heart to forgive them after throwing him away in a "racist" foreign country.

4. MEMPHIS DEPAY

Memphis hates his father and it is evident with the name change he did on his shirt. In 2012, a year after he became a professional footballer, he removed the name "Depay" from his shirt and put his first name there.

He did this to reflect the fact that he wanted nothing to do with his father, a man who abandoned his wife and child when the child was young.

5. AINSLEY MAITLAND-NILES

In 2018, it was found out that his mother was living in a container, meaning she was homeless, while he and his brother lived in a £700k house. His mother said she doesn't know what wrong she did to him that he would treat her that way.

However, his mother was banned from Arsenal's training facility in Colney after a bust up she had with one of the leading negotiators at Arsenal over Ainsley's future at the club.

Till today, there seems to be no love in his heart for his mother.
