Addiction is a serious problem especially if one is addicted to something that harms or does not add value or takes more than it takes.

Name the common addictions you observe in people around us today and explain why it's such a serious problem.

I will of course set the ball rolling:

MOBILE PHONE ADDICTION!

OMG! This has even claimed lives. Spending too much time on phone takes away so much valuable time, using phone while driving causes deadly accidents. And many more.

The list is endless. Smartphone addictions involve social networking, games, texting, and many more.

Balance is needed.

I'm sorry. This may not help. There is a gainfully employed barber in my area. That's where he destroys all his income. We need strong measures.
