Nigeria is making changes in its health sector so that it citizens are capable of getting the standard health-care activities they require without understanding financial difficulty.

Chidiebere, a 22 years old medical doctor living in the city of Umoafia in western Enugu began to feel dizzy. It was in the month of late February, 2020 at the time when the COVID-19 outbreak had officially been announced. Equipped with medical experience, he swiftly self-isolated from his Nigerian friends and other family members. As his symptoms become very bad, he contacted an ambulance, and tested positive while in hospital.

The change of health activities to ensure that patients can be tested for COVID-19 without payment is only one of the many spotlight steps the Nigerian government had taken. (#bncovid19) It shows the government's dedication to national health coverage (NHC) in the country, ensuring that no one remains behind and everyone can access the health care they desire without noticing financial need.
