Let's do math: which fills first?

Let's test our abilities: which glass fills up completely first from numbered glasses?

Let's go!

Almost saying 5. But won't it depend on the rush rate? :thnk:

Depending on the rush rate if high 5 fills first, if low then 7.

Here is the real math: x=5 and 7
7-5=x x=2
x /7(numbers of glass) = 0.2

Final answer =0.2 (no glass will fill)

Clap for me :clap: :lol;

Wait wait wait guys. I had to take a look at this thing very well again. And I think the answer is ... None!

Ask me how.

Logically, the answer is cup number 3. When d water goes up in cup number 1, it flows to cup number 3 but was supposed to flow to cup number 7 but the channel to it was blocked so the water will rise and flow through channel that leads to cup number 6 unfortunately the outlet to cup number 6 was blocked at the tip. Therefore the cup number 3 will be filled and began to overflow. This is the sure correct answer (no need for scientific calculator or d plotting of graph).

OMG! @Godknows, you just made a discovery though your final answer is logically wrong.

Now, 2 things are involved;

1. If the volume from the bottle is sufficient to fill 3 cups completely, then the right answer is 6!

2. Now my discovery: None would be filled if the volume from the bottle cannot fill up to 2 cups. That dispenser bottle is too small.

So, either 6 or NONE!

I still believe it is 3 considering d outlet to seven is blocked
