The 19 members of the same family who were kidnapped in the NSTA bus while coming from a wedding at Kotangora have been released.
This was confirmed toThe PUNCHby the Head of the family, Isa Kadir, in Minna.
They are currently been conveyed back to Minna the Niger state capital.
Earlier, the Niger State Government announced that it has secured the release of the Niger State Transport Authority passengers abducted by bandits.
This was announced by Governor Abubakar Sani Bello on hisTwitterpage this evening.
The Governor wrote, “We are pleased to announce to the general public the release of the NSTA passengers abducted a week ago while returning to Minna along the Minna-Zungeru road.”
