The day Ronaldo scored with an eye closed.

He has scored many great goals in football from breathtaking headers to unbelievable long range shots to over head kicks to simple tap ins(although tap ins are not simple because it requires you been at the right place at the right time).
His arguably best goal has to be his overhead kick against Juventus that got both the home and away team fans on their feet. Although Gareth Bale went on to score a similar goal in the final but most pundit voted Ronaldo's goal ahead of Bale's goal.
Ronaldo is arguably the greatest and most complete player to ever play football. Although this will be argued by many football fans, but he has made his point by defiling science, age and even carried his team on his shoulder on countless occasions when all hope seemed lost for his team. He is indeed a great leader with or without the captain armband.
Despite all his exploits the goal that touched most Ronaldo and Madrid fans was his goal against lavente, with Ronaldo injured in the third minute of the game, the two players fought for the ball and Ronaldo ended up with a nasty injury to his left eyebrow. The Portuguese was chasing the ball and when he turned he felt the force of the Levante centre-back's elbow.
The Madrid player fell to the ground with a bloody left eye and needed several stitches to be able to keep playing the game. Referee Muñiz Fernández did not award a free-kick. A few minutes later Ronaldo broke the deadlock with Real's first goal of the game. Ronaldo did not play the second half, as a result of the blow and the five stitches he was given in his eyebrow on the playing field at the Ciutat de Valencia.
The argument of who will be regarded as the greatest of all time will go on for a very long time, but for what it is worth we can all agree Ronaldo and Messi has made football a pleasure to watch.
